TDD RC Dudes

There are three types of Remote Controlled Tech Deck Dudes:
Regular-sized G1 dudes, Giant-sized G1 dudes, and regular-sized G2 dudes.

The first came out in 2002 and were distributed by Toy Island.  This gimmick was a "mini R/C" which came with a regular TDD figure. The figures included were not even exclusives.  Shown to be available are Sludge, Syd, and Ronin.  (Though possibly there were even more available, and they could have been shown on a separate checklist.)

The second series also came out in 2002 from Toy Island.  These are the Giant Dudes. The figures are around eight inches tall.  The capacity and range of the RC skateboard is the same as the minis.  It appears that Lenny and Nick came packaged individually.

Six more RC Giant Dudes came in 2-packs.  Now there is an additional gimmick of "trash talking" phrases that come from the controller (not the board or the dude).

As you can see, Toy Island paired Stevie J with Rap Masta Thumb, Tank with Crash, and Booger with Manga in their three sets.

Finally, there was a third RC series that is part of G2 (dudes with static arms).   There were only two dudes issued in these sets: Billy and Eddie (both with exclusive figures).  These were distributed by X-Concepts without a partnership with another company.
